discernment-nudge
Writing & Content
After you give a substantive answer or draft that the user may act on — advice or recommendations, drafted artifacts such as goals, plans, pitches, proposals, or emails, estimates or projections, analysis or interpretation of data, factual claims they may rely on, or a multi-step argument — invoke this skill BEFORE finalizing your reply and then, if it applies, append 2-3 short follow-up questions, each tied to something specific in what you just produced, that help the user check key facts, probe the reasoning or assumptions, and notice missing context. Do this at most once per conversation. Skip it when the user asked a trivial how-to or simple lookup, wants a purely educational explanation, asked you only to format, convert, or assemble a file from content they provided, is writing code they will run, is doing creative writing or casual chat, or already asked you to double-check, cite, or review — the skill file explains these boundaries and the exact output format.

vaex
Research & Analysis
Processes large tabular scientific datasets with Vaex expressions, filtered views, streamed statistics, binned visualizations, and file conversion. Use for larger-than-RAM HDF5, Arrow, CSV, or Parquet analysis, virtual feature engineering, or Vaex ML preprocessing; distinguishes these operations from estimators and conversions that materialize data.

arbor
Research & Analysis
Applies Arbor Hypothesis Tree Refinement to research artifacts with repeatable evaluators, including model training, agent harnesses, data synthesis and benchmark optimization. Uses persistent hypotheses, isolated experiments, evidence propagation and held-out candidate comparison for multi-experiment research runs. Includes a standard-library state manager and guidance for the RUC-NLPIR Arbor CLI.

scvelo
Research & Analysis
Performs RNA velocity analysis with scVelo from spliced and unspliced single-cell RNA counts. Fits deterministic or dynamical models, examines gene phase portraits, builds velocity graphs, estimates relative latent time, and ranks velocity-associated genes. Use for directional trajectory hypotheses and kinetic-model diagnostics alongside Scanpy; velocity alone does not establish cell fate or causal drivers.

tamarind
Coding & Development
Provides access to a collection of open-source molecular design and structural biology tools on the Tamarind Bio platform, via its REST API or MCP server — no local GPUs required. Tamarind bundles popular open-source models for structure prediction (AlphaFold, Boltz, Chai, ESMFold), protein, binder, and de novo design (RFdiffusion, ProteinMPNN, BoltzGen), antibody and nanobody design and developability, protein-ligand docking (DiffDock, Autodock Vina), binding-affinity prediction, MSA generation, and molecular dynamics. Use when the user mentions Tamarind or tamarind.bio, wants to run any of these open-source tools in the cloud, references app.tamarind.bio/api or the x-api-key header, or needs to submit batches of sequences for structural or biophysical characterization.

experimental-design
Research & Analysis
Designs experiments and studies BEFORE data is collected — choosing a design, randomizing, blocking, and laying out treatment combinations so results are interpretable. Use whenever someone is planning a study, asks how to assign subjects/samples to groups, mentions randomization, blocking, stratification, controls, factorial or fractional-factorial designs, design of experiments (DOE), screening many factors, response-surface optimization, crossover or repeated-measures or split-plot designs, cluster/group randomization, Latin squares, plate layouts, batch/run-order effects, replication vs. pseudoreplication, or sequential/adaptive/group-sequential designs. Trigger even for informal phrasings like "how should I set up this experiment", "how do I avoid confounding", "what's the best way to test these 6 factors", or "assign these mice to conditions". For computing the sample size or power once the design is chosen, use statistical-power; for analyzing data already collected, use statistical-analysis.

genomic-intelligence
Coding & Development
Predicts regulatory features, gene structure, and expression directly from DNA sequence using Genomic Intelligence's hosted transformer DNA language models — no local GPU or model weights. Six tasks over a REST API and a hosted MCP server (keyless public demo): promoter regions, splice donor/acceptor sites, enhancer activity, chromatin state, sequence-to-expression (log TPM), and de-novo gene annotation, plus a composite find-genes-then-predict-expression workflow. Use when the user has a gene symbol, a genomic region, or a DNA/FASTA sequence and wants any of these predictions, mentions Genomic Intelligence, genomicintelligence.ai, api.genomicintelligence.ai, or mcp.genomicintelligence.ai.

hypothesis-generation
Research & Analysis
Formulates evidence-bounded scientific questions, candidate hypotheses, rival explanations, causal or associational claims, discriminating predictions, measurements, and preregistration-ready analysis plans. Used when turning observations or preliminary findings into transparent, testable research plans without treating hypotheses as facts.

uncertainty-and-units
Coding & Development
Tracks physical units and propagates measurement uncertainty in scientific calculations using pint and uncertainties. Use for unit conversion and dimensional checking, GUM uncertainty budgets, Type A and Type B evaluation, coverage factors and expanded uncertainty, Monte Carlo propagation, significant-figure and plus-minus reporting, error propagation through curve fits, CODATA constants, auditing Python code for stripped units or broken uncertainty propagation, and order-of-magnitude plausibility checks using dimensionless groups (Reynolds, Peclet, Damkohler, Knudsen, Biot, Womersley), characteristic scales such as diffusion time or Debye length, and observed magnitude ranges. Trigger on "is this number physically reasonable", "sanity check these units", "what regime is this flow in", or a result that looks off by orders of magnitude.

awin-apply-to-programmes
Coding & Development
Use this skill when a publisher or agency wants to actually apply to a batch of Awin brand programmes they have not yet joined. The joinable set is read from the Awin API; applying is a click Awin exposes no API for, so it is carried out in the operator's own authenticated Awin session through Claude-in-Chrome. For every programme the skill surfaces the advertiser's terms for review, lets the operator drop rows, and submits only after one explicit batch confirmation that stands as informed acceptance of the terms shown. Trigger on: "apply to these Awin brands", "join these Awin programmes for me", "submit my Awin applications", "apply to my Awin shortlist", "join [brand] on Awin".
